Anniversaire royal pour virtuose de la guitare 2015 est une année symbolique pour Eric Clapton. Il a fêté ses 70 ans en mars et a donné en mai son 200ème concert au fameux Royal Albert Hall de Londres, 50 ans après y avoir joué pour la première fois avec les Yardbirds. Les 7 concerts donnés en 2015 ont été à la fois acclamés par la critique et par les fans. Le programme mêle des titres blues vintage de Robert Johnson, et tous les grands classiques issus de son impressionnante carrière avec Cream, Derek & The Dominos, puis en solo. Présentée dans un beau livre photo relié de 60 pages (30x30 cm), l'édition de luxe contient le DVD et les 2CD du concert de 2015 mais aussi un DVD bonus qui rassemble des titres enregistrés au Royal Albert Hall au fil des années : tournée d'adieu de Cream en 1968, tournée Journeyman en 1990, concert caritatif pour les Nations Unies avec Zucchero en 2004, concerts de reformation de Cream en 2005, ainsi qu'un concert pour le Prince's Trust Benefit en 2010.
