"Power to the people célèbre les concerts "One to one" de John Lennon et Yoko Ono avec The Plastic Ono Band. Le 30 août 1972, Plastic Ono Band organise deux concerts caritatifs dans la même journée devant un publique de 40 000 personnes réuni au Madison Square Garden. Voici édités pour la première fois les deux derniers concerts donnés par John Lennon après la séparation des Beatles. John et Yoko ont été rejoint sur scène par de nombreux invités dont George Harrison, Eric Clapton et Frank Zappa.
