Un album rare de Chet Baker, entre grâce vocale et élégance instrumentale. Enregistré le 29 décembre 1978 au Château d'Hérouville avec Jean-Louis Rassinfosse à la contrebasse, Jeff Brillinger à la batterie et Phil Markowitz au piano, puis mixé aux studios Davout en décembre 1979, Two A Day n'avait pas été réédité en vinyle depuis 1980. Cet album discret mais remarquable de Chet Baker mêle titres instrumentaux et vocaux, portés par le swing et la profondeur émotionnelle qui caractérisent ses plus grands enregistrements. Une remasterisation de haute qualité permet aujourd'hui de restituer toute la chaleur et l'intimité du mythique Château d'Hérouville, qui a également accueilli David Bowie ou Pink Floyd. L'édition LP, 40 ans après sa dernière parution officielle, est proposée avec une numérotation en dorure à chaud.
