Caillou and his family go food shopping but not at the grocery store. They go to a farmer’s market. There, Caillou learns about locally grown food and foods that have to take a plane to get to the supermarket. Caillou also finds out that strawberries are available only in summer, but he discovers all sorts of other flavors! The family chooses something new, fresh from the farm, for that night’s dinner.
